This is a family favorite, so simple yet satisfying and nutritious.
— 1 pound organic ground turkey
— 1 medium size organic white onion
— 3 large organic carrots, chopped
— 2 bags frozen organic broccoli
— 1 cup organic Lundberg jasmine rice
— Soy Vay Veri Veri teriyaki gluten free sauce
— 1 bundle organic green onions
— 2 teaspoons minced organic garlic
— Organic olive oil
Start jasmine rice according to directions (use olive oil instead of butter). Warm olive oil in a non-stick skillet, add onion, turkey and garlic. Heat broccoli in the microwave according to directions. Cook the turkey until about half way done and add chopped carrots and broccoli and continue to cook until the turkey is no longer pink. Spoon the turkey mix over rice and add teriyaki sauce and green onions to your liking. Not a teriyaki fan, you can use low sodium soy sauce.
